Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed our stay overall, but the noise from housekeeping early in the morning was disruptive. the restaurant offered excellent food, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I recommend calling ahead during weekends for a smoother dining experience.

Comfortable Stay with Stunning Views
Our family stay was enjoyable overall, with breathtaking views from our Pilgrim King Room. The attention to detail in the amenities truly impressed us. Breakfast was delightful, especially the Lavazza coffee. loud noises early in the morning disrupted our sleep. Consider asking for a quieter room.

The fabulous decor accentuated a very comfy bed and pristine amenities, including a large walk-in shower and separate bath. Breakfast offerings featured delightful choices like yogurt and eggs purgatory, and the attentive staff ensured a memorable dining experience. An exceptional feature was the complimentary scone with jam and cream, which added a lovely touch to my stay.

Amazing stay with little luxuries!
Had a work trip here and was super impressed! The room was modern and cozy, with a nice touch of a scone waiting for me. The bar had some awesome food coming out, though I only had breakfast, which was fantastic. It would’ve been even better if there was a bit more variety on the menu.

great stay but room choice could improve
The room offered a beautiful view over the fields, enhancing our stay. The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit.
Despite a wonderful experience, we would choose a different room next time.

It was just an ideal choice for a couple of nights in Chesterfield with excellent value for money. The bed was fairly good, which made our stay more comfortable. Make sure to double-check your breakfast orders to avoid any mix-ups.

The atmosphere at The Peacock is inviting, and the staff is friendly. The room was fantastic, although the evening meal service could be improved since ordering at the bar feels disconnected from the overall pleasant dining experience.

missingWrote a review on 29 Mayluxury toiletriesstunning viewslighting issue
The room features luxury toiletries and a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk, a nice touch for a great stay. Stunning views of the Derbyshire countryside from the veranda enhance the overall ambiance, making it inviting and comfortable.
Unfortunately, one of the light fittings emitted a surprisingly bright green ECG indicator at night, making it a bit tough to get some shut-eye. The EV chargers were frustratingly inaccessible, as non-EV cars occupied the spots. There’s also a faint but annoying drain smell that lingered upon arrival, though it dissipated after airing out the room. On the practical side, the absence of a hanging space in the twin room can make unpacking a hassle, putting a damper on comfort.

The views from the room windows were absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the lush Derbyshire countryside. The luxurious bathroom featured underfloor heating, making mornings feel like a spa retreat. And that welcome scone with clotted cream? A delightful personal touch that made my heart smile!
